About MSS:

The driving force and creator of Maharogi Sewa Samiti ('Leprosy Service Society') is a man who has set world standards for the successful rehabilitation of leprosy patients and coordinated some of India's most daring and prominent ecological and social programs. His name is Murlidhar Devdas Amte, fondly called Baba Amte.
