People:

MSS was started by Baba Amte and his family in 1949. The Amte family continues to provide medical and administrative services. But if you ask the Amtes, they point out that an organization that helps so many people is only possible with the collective effort of hundreds, if not thousands of people. In this section, we explore some of the leaders, friends, and supporters of MSS. Over time, we will add profile others at MSS: kids in the Anand blind and deaf school, leprosy survivors, rural youth, and senior citizens.
