Dr. Manda Amte works quietly, doesn't speak much - she's a woman of few words. But she has personally treated over her 30 years of medical practice, over 100,000 people. In these remote tribal areas, women do not discuss gynacological problems in general. Because she's a woman, they are more likely to talk to her. But most importantly, by seeing a woman confidently practicing medicine, she is a role model to the young tribal girls.
