Dr. Pandu examines a baby.

Dr. Pandu is the first member of the Madia Gond tribe to graduate medical school! He studied at the Hemalkasa school and has now come back to serve his people at the hospital. Dr. Digant Amte. Drs. Prakash and Manda's son also did his medical degree and returned to Hemalkasa. In India, doctors can make signifcant amounts of cash in the urban metros. So it is extraordinary that Dr. Pandu and Dr. Digant chose to return.
