Indu prepares food for her family and the community

Indu, Baba's wife, prepares food for her family.

In 1946, Baba Amte met Indu Guleshastri and soon after this meeting they were married. Both did not want to live an ordinary life so together they started a small community called Shram Ashram, which was open to anyone.

Indu spent her time taking care of the women and children of this community.
