The People of MSS:
A group of women taking a moment to chat while they cook flat bread.
At Anandwan, food is cooked in communal kitchens. This is one of the
kitchens that feeds thousands of residents on a daily basis. The women are
baking Indian bread called Chapati. Chapati is made from wheat flour or
other grain. It is powdered, then mixed with water, and then rolled with a
rolling pin (like a tortilla).
