A woman leprosy patient weaves.

A woman leprosy survivor weaves on a loom.

"You can live without fingers, but not without self-respect." is the motto at MSS. At the Anandwan project, cured leprosy survivors earn their living in the weaving department. Many businesses order fabric and rugs from MSS and the work is comparable to the best in the marketplace. Weaving generates a sizable income for MSS and fufills its own needs.
